PERIMENOPAUSE
OR MENOPAUSE SYMPTOMS?
Perimenopause is the time leading up to menopause in which our hormone levels fluctuate and begin declining. You may be told your hormone levels are “normal”, but normal doesn’t mean you aren’t experiencing symptoms.
Menopause is defined as one year without a period. Perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms may be similar and include (but are not limited to) the following:
-
Irregular Periods (Peri-Menopause)
-
Hot Flashes
-
Night Sweats
-
Mood Swings/Irritability
-
Insomnia
-
Joint Pain
-
Fatigue
-
Weight Gain
HOW THE WOMAN'S CLINIC CAN HELP:
The Woman’s Clinic offers treatment options for both peri-menopausal women and menopausal women. Treatment options include estrogen (patch, pill, gel, cream), progesterone (capsule) and testosterone (cream) and GLP-1 RA’s.

Hormone levels are checked as a baseline, and at times after treatment. Treatment is not based on lab results, but more so based on your symptoms.
We accept and file most insurance plans and offer competitive self pay rates. We file labs and office visits with insurance but also offer self pay packages based on your needs. Annual gynecological exams and mammograms (annual generally starting at age 40) are strongly encouraged.
